Membership

Membership of Rotary is generally by invitation, however, men and women of any race and physical ability are welcome, our meetings and affiliations are non-sectarian and non-political. Perhaps you are new to the area or are unaware of what Rotary has to offer, or may be you were previously a member of Rotary and due to relocation or job commitments you had to resign. In our club we also have a "Friend of Rotary" category for anyone who would like to be involved in our fundraising and fellowship events but cannot currently give the commitment to becoming a Rotarian. Based on a twelve month period, a 'friend' can attend any of our meetings ( except business meetings ) for just the cost of the meal, it gives them a chance get to know the members and what Rotary is about. We are more than pleased to discuss membership with those who feel that they may have something to offer our community through membership or in conjunction with Rotary.

If you feel you would like to know more about Rotary in general, you are encouraged to follow the link to Rotary International, which has its headquarters in Chicago USA. If you would like to know more about the qualifications for membership of the Aldershot Club, you are very welcome to contact our membership chairman Don Burnside.
